Comfortable accommodation in the popular 2 cabin layout. The forward guest stateroom features a generous double berth that comfortably sleeps two persons, a hanging locker, privacy door, and 6' 3"headroom. On the port side of the main cabin is a settee followed by the navigation station, with the fully equipped galley aft. The starboard side has a U-shaped settee/dinette with a hi-lo table that can convert to a double berth. Aft of the dinette is the head with a separate stall shower. Forward there is a chain locker and V-Berth with bureau and hanging locker to starboard aft with a private head to port in the private fo'c'sle; Saloon with expansion settee/berth with shelves and cupboards outboard and galley to starboard aft; companionway to aft stateroom.  The aft stateroom has a double berth starboard; navigation station and cupboards to port, vanity and head forward. The cockpit has long low coamings with bench seating and deep port and starboard lockers. 

A lavish interior that has to be seen, much improved upon over the years by renowned crew at Jespersen Boat Builders. Noted on Jespersen's website: "She came to our yard for restyling of much of her interior. The woodwork comprised putting solid ash on the counters of the galley, settee areas, and chart table. This is the Deep Keel Version

The J/109 features the popular carbon fiber retractable bowsprit and asymmetric spinnaker system and a versatile 2-cabin interior layout with standing headroom. She is designed with a very low VCG, long waterline, and generous sailplan with the horsepower for competitive racing and stability for relaxed cruising when the racing crew is not aboard. The J/109 fits within the current J/Boat sprit range as a stable, easy-to-sail performance boat with the interior volume necessary for comfortable cruising and a great dual purpose deck layout. The sleek profile and generous sailplan give one an immediate sense of the speed potential of the J/109. The hull profile reveals a long waterline, low wetted surface and a low VCG fin keel (7 feet), designed for excellent stability when sailing short-handed. The deck/cockpit layout is a cross between the J/105 and J/120, the two J/stable-mates that clearly bracket the targeted market for the J/109. Sail handling systems follow the J philosophy of keeping things easy. Halyards and reef lines are cockpit led, mainsheet controls are within reach of the wheel, and inboard sheeting tracks permit the use of both overlapping and non-overlapping headsails. There is ample on-deck stowage, thanks to the removable transom locker, cockpit seat locker and a bow compartment large enough for both the anchor rode and the asymmetric spinnaker. The interior is European-style with two private sleeping cabins and an option for a pull-out double in the large main cabin. The L-shaped galley includes a double sink, 2-burner propane stove and a pressure water system. The nav station is a large sit-down forward-facing console with abundant space for instrument displays. A COSY COCKPIT, WITH SMOOTH, ELEGANT CURVES
- a single level from the aft platform to the saloon: a structural "revolution",
- entirely new ergonomics that ensure excellent use of space and ease of circulation on board,
- a large glazed door that occupies the entire width of the coachroof, and provides access to the unparalleled internal volumes.
- The suspended steps at the transom provide a whole new perception of the boat: a continuous, wide and inviting platform, worthy of a large vessel.

AN INGENIOUS DECK LAYOUT
The mast moved further aft and the self-tacking jib, a guarantee of performance under sail and ease of handling, provide the ability to bring all operations together in one place.

AN ERGONOMIC HELMING STATION
At the coachroof bulkhead, offering many advantages:direct communication between the cockpit and saloon, improved circulation, forward and aft of the helming station, direct access to the coachroof for easier access to the boom, a composite bimini with a sliding panel to ensure a good view of the sails, a closure panel or helming station safety when under way.

ACCOMODATIONS
3 or 4 double cabins … and what cabins! Island double beds for the aft cabins and beds with side access for the forward cabins, the aft cabins benefit from a bathroom with a separate shower, very large windows in the cabins offer excellent illumination and magnificent views of the surroundings, the vertical glazing in the coachroof provides saloon illumination: a well-lit, comfortable environment that is perfectly balanced between the galley and saloon areas, the U-shaped galley, fully fitted with broad work surfaces and extensive storage space, is oriented towards the external cockpit.
The attention devoted to detail and the use of the volumes make this new interior a unique and enjoyable living space.

A luxurious main salon with U Shaped table and short settee opposite to starboard in Navy Blue leather. A Dickenson Adriatic Stove provides heat for winter cruising and keeps the below deck warm and dry. A large U shaped Galley is well equipped with extra large counter space, double sinks, Corian style counter tops, Fridge and Freezer, with a 3 Burner Force 10 Stove and Oven. 

Double aft Cabins with head accessed on the starboard side and private vip cabin behind the galley to port.

A forward facing navigation Station is well appointed with large screen for plotting new destinations.

Forward to port is a second head and the master stateroom with a large Island Berth.

The cockpit is large and spacious with great helm position aft. An aft deck behind the helm is a great dry spot in choppy weather.
