“Ocean Alexander” is a name that is synonymous with craftmanship, magnificent styling, leadership, and timelessness. Their luxury yachts are found the globe over and for decades they’ve been setting benchmarks for precision engineering, rich features, and unparalleled functionality. To own a well-kept Ocean Alexander is to own excellence itself.

This Ocean Alexander 64 is simply outstanding.

The boat looks like it just came from the factory as the topsides and hull were painted in 2022. The teak decks were removed, the fiberglass faired, and Ultradeck was installed. The owner has upgraded many systems including a new watermaker, batteries, navigation displays, and solar to name a few. She has been under the protective cover of a boathouse on Quadra Island, the footstep of Desolation Sooud, and is ready to go cruising at a moment's notice. The boathouse is available to purchase if desired.

With three staterooms and two baths, you can cruise the Salish Sea or the Pacific Ocean with your favourite people. The upper deck of this vessel extends all the way to the stern, providing ample room above, and complete coverage of the cockpit below.

With three helms, you can be where the action is, or get away from it, as you wish. With the twin engines, stabilizers, bow, and stern thrusters, you will be able to manipulate these 64 feet like they were only 46. With 1,650 horsepower, you’ll have the power you need to get where you want to go, when you want to go but it also has fantastic fuel economy at 8 knots.

The interior spaces gleam with highly polished wood, softened by gentle greens and cream fabrics. Cooking in the galley will be nothing short of a joy, due to its intelligent design and features. The staterooms are all spaces of tranquil lavishness.

Everywhere you go on this vessel you are bound to have a magnificent seafaring experience.

Layout

There is a reason the Ocean Alexander 64 is considered one of the best cruising boats around. The functional layout creates multiple areas for people to come together as well as have privacy. From every space, you can experience the beautiful coast through expansive windows and well-placed seating areas. No matter the weather you will be comfortable aboard this yacht.

Entry to the boat is gained from the swim grid, through the transom, or through a portside gate into the cockpit. The cockpit is full width with a SeaDek sole, a long aft bench with an oval table. There is a wet bar to starboard of a sliding glass door into the saloon. Flanking the cockpit are molded stairs to the side decks that lead to the foredeck. To port of the sliding glass door is also a molded fiberglass curved staircase to the quarterdeck and flybridge. There is a helm in the cockpit with throttles and thruster control. With the extended cover over the full cockpit, it becomes a fantastic indoor/outdoor space for everyone to enjoy.

At the top of the stairs up to the flybridge, you will find the tender cradle to your right with a Steelhead Marine crane. Ahead of that is a large deep freezer. There’s a walkway to port leading to a wet bar and the flybridge helm. To port is a set of elegant stairs leading to the lower helm/galley/dinette area. Starboard of the stairs, there is a curved sitting area behind the upper helm. There are two captain’s chairs that can swivel to face the dinette table creating an area for 6 people to visit and dine.

The deck of the flybridge extends over the entire vessel, affording plenty of space for the tender, as well as providing complete overhead coverage for the cockpit below.

Meanwhile, return to the cockpit. If you walk through the sliding door you will arrive in the salon. To starboard is a couch and coffee table, to port are two plush chairs with a table in between. The fabrics and carpet are of soft greens and cream. Forward to starboard is a large flat-screen TV over a generous cabinet. To port is a wet bar. The wood is polished to a high gleam. Between those are 3 steps up to the next level. Overhead is a beautiful, round, recessed wooden centrepiece containing several pot lights, from which the paneling appears to expand from in a sunburst pattern. The room is surrounded by large windows, creating a bright and open space.

At the next level forward you will find the full galley to starboard, a raised C-shaped dinette for 6 to port, and the main helm forward.

The long U-shaped galley has an exceptional amount of counter space and storage with all the features you would expect. Full-sized fridge-up-freezer-down, electric stovetop, oven, microwave, dishwasher, large sinks, and trash compactor.

Against the starboard side is a sink-and-a-half. Having that ½ sink aboard is nice because it provides a place to hold water without giving it too much room to slosh about while underway. Looking forward, there is a long uninterrupted countertop that runs athwartship, wonderful for preparing food. Below is an exceptional amount of storage.

The lower helm has a large, secure captain’s chair in front of a beautiful wooden wheel. Three displays are laid out in front with all the controls needed to safely and efficiently navigate the vessel. The electrical center is starboard of the chair.

Starboard to the helm and electrical panel is a staircase leading to the lower level with its 3 staterooms and 2 heads.

At the bottom of the stairs to the left, is the owner's stateroom. It is situated in the center of the vessel, low, where there is the least movement. The king berth has complete walk-around convenience with the most storage space of all the staterooms, with 2 hanging lockers and a vanity. A large flatscreen TV adorns one wall. As with all the staterooms, it is finished in a high-gloss bird’s eye maple. There is a private ensuite with a large granite vanity, a single basin, and a separate shower stall with a seat. The cabin is spacious and airy and a delightful space to relax in.

Moving forward, the first door on the right is a shared head for the VIP and guest staterooms. It has a granite vanity, a basin, an electric flush toilet, and a separate shower stall.

Across the hall to the port, is the guest stateroom. It holds 2 single berths and a generous hanging locker. There is a flatscreen TV at the foot of one of the berths.

The VIP stateroom is forward. The queen berth has 2-sided access. There are also 2 generous hanging lockers, cedar lined, as well as ample shelf storage in this stateroom. There is a TV here as well.

Finally, the engine compartment is located beneath the saloon with access via the cockpit. Its not standing headroom but there is good space to get around the engines for servicing.
