Recent work on boat

This boat was purchased and surveyed this spring by a discriminating yachtsman who has cared for multiple boats (both quite a bit larger than this one).   After complete review of original maintenance records (confirming required service was done), the surveys pointed out some items that needed to be brought to local code.  Those were all done as follows:

  • furnace and diesel fuel tank installation upgrade (to meet code)
  • backing plates added to through-hull fittings
  • European 240V main AC breaker replaced with 120V
  • battery monitor mounted and accessible by 12V panel
  • automatic charge relay (ACR) installed (No need to use battery crossover except in emergency)
  • house battery main cable and main fuse upgraded, battery terminal boots installed
  • motor brackets and trim tab assemblies epoxy coated and anti-fouling painted
  • macerator discharge switch upgraded, mounted and accessible on 12V panel
  • charger properly grounded

This boat is ready to go in so many respects - just load her up and set off on your adventures.
