The Oceanis 38 was a new concept for Beneteau with a removable bulkhead for either an open layout or a private cabin forward when desired.

The forward cabin is spacious and light with large hull ports, and overhead hatch.  The 38 also features Longchamp luggage in lieu of a hanging locker which allows you to bring your gear and stow it immediately upon arrival!

One of the best features of this boat is the removable bulkhead which completely changes the feel of the boat from a more conventional 2 cabin boat to a complete open feeling boat, but when the need is there, it takes about 15 minutes to install the 3-piece removable bulkhead.

The main salon features a U-shaped convertible dinette to port and a linear galley to starboard. The galley features a 2-burner stove with oven, microwave, refrigerator, abundant storage, and a large hull port for addition light and visibility while standing in the galley.

The nav table is on the aft end of the settee to port with a hanging locker and large aft cabin aft of that on the port side.  

Another unique feature of the Oceanis 38 is the head with a separate shower compartment aft to starboard.
