Forespar aluminum mast installed in 1989(increased mast height by 6 feet)  

Custom made bow pulpit and stern pushpit installed in 1989with dual lifelines of 3/16 dia. 1x19 uncoated type 316 stainless, cable replaced in summer of 2015

Factory rudder replaced in 2013with a Cal 40 Schumacher elliptical rudder

Topsides (hull) and deck repainted with Allgrip in summer of 2015(color = “Ice Blue” & “White”)

Blighs Spirit has a GREAT racing and one that if the boat is sailed well, can and has over the years WON many races.  This is a bonus with ALL the work and refurbishment that has been done on this Cal 36.  The Butler family owned this vessel for over 50 years, so she has not been bought and resold numerous times which can be modified or not maintained as well as say w/ a single family.  More details available by request.
