Recent RE-Fits in 2015 and 2020 have prepared this vessel for her next adventure. Recent  Rod Rigging, Mast pulled w/ running rigging complete in 2015.  Custom built aluminum mast was installed in 1989 w/ designers adding 6 feet to her height for high-performance sailing in the lightest of air.

During the 2015 REFIT, Topsides (hull) and deck skillfully repainted w/ ALLGRIP in the summer of 2015.  Colors are Hull "ICE BLUE" and deck "WHITE".

** Vessel has the ability to easily be converted to a "TABERNACLE" rig. (Vessel used to be fully functional and kept in Mission Bay, so would go under the bridge often.  If you have a bridge/height issue, please contact Broker for details on how this could be modified.

Many modern upgrades make this racer/cruiser and breeze to sail and handle, like in 2013 a Cal 40 Schumacher designed elliptical Rudder, Rod Rigging replaces in 2015, Custom Solid teak cabin sole, Adler Barbor Refrigeration, Color Chartplotter, 13 gallon Water tank installed 2020, Groco Model K Toilet w/ a mini holding tank (never used) and a Y Valve.

The engine was REPLACED w/ a Universal- Westerbeke M3-208 18hp Diesel Engine w/ V-Drive and a Martec two-blade FOLDING prop for minimal drag helping to make the Cal 36 very slippery through the water.  Many many upgrades to this classic design which will please the most discerning yachtsman alike.  Ready to Race and WIN!
