Nordic Tug 54

2007/54 ft/Seattle, WA

US$ 759,750US

$100,000 price adjustment August 1st, 2025!

Speakeasy is a truly exceptional vessel that has been maintained and outfitted to a very high standard by her experienced owners.

Compare the Nordic 54 to other vessels in her class and you will find a lot to like in the design. The hard chine semi-displacement hull is inherently stable. The Cummins will easily drive the boat at economical displacement cruising speeds (2500-mile range) but can deliver 14 knots when needed. Her open interior layout makes life aboard comfortable and provides excellent visibility.

You enter into a great salon with seating on both sides, a TV, bar, and open to the large galley. Up three steps is a very large pilothouse, with a settee large enough for 5. There's doors to each side to get to the foredeck easily, and stairs that lead to the open-plan flybridge.

This particular hull is set up as a 3 cabin, 2 head layout. The primary cabin is forward, with an ensuite head. Then there is a cabin that can be set up as a queen pullman berth or as a couch, finally, a bunk bed cabin. There is a practical utility room that houses separate washers and dryers, and a deep freezer, plus storage.

Features Include:

  • Three staterooms and 2 head layout
  • Engine - Cummins QSM11 670HP (around 1,000 Hours)
  • Bow and stern thrusters
  • Cockpit steering & docking station
  • Active stabilizers by Wesmar
  • Onan generator
  • Watermaker by Village Marine
  • Solar Panels
  • Roof top bimini
  • Hydraulic davit - 1,000 Lbs Steelhead, on flybridge
  • Tender - 2023 EWV 12' console tender with 30 Yamaha

Call with questions or to arrange a showing today before it's gone! Moored at Shilshole Bay Marina in Seattle, showings are by appointment only.

FULL DESCRIPTION

General Features and Description:

The Nordic Tug 54 has a large cockpit that is well set-up for entertaining, BBQs, but also as a work area for fishing or crabbing. There is an overhanging roof so it could be fully enclosed.

There are nice, wide fiberglass steps to the flybridge (It can also be accessed from the Pilothouse). Access to the foredeck is very easy from the port and starboard side decks, and once forward, you have a high vantage point from which to enjoy the views. There is an inset cushion for sitting.

The flybridge features six solar panels on the pilothouse roof and plenty of open space. Currently, the owners have a large L-shaped outdoor couch, a large dock box, and there is still space to put a tender with the hydraulic lift.

The interior can be entered via a large door in the cockpit, and two sliding doors to either side of the pilothouse. Rich teak joinery accents the interior from stem to stern. The main level is for a large salon with a couch to the left and space on the right for chairs, with cabinetry and a space that's been used for a full car. Then there is a U-shaped galley that's plenty big for several users, with two fridges and a deep freezer in a utility room, a dishwasher, icemaker, convection oven and 4 burner propane stove. Up a few steps is an exceptionally large pilothouse with a "sky lounge" that will seat 4-5 adults, a great Stidd chair for the helm person, and plenty of standing-around room and natural ventilation.

From the Galley you can go down a winding staircase to the landing that leads to the two guest cabins midship (One is a couch convertible to a Queen; the other are bunk beds). Then further forward is guest/day head, cabinetry, and finally the primary cabin forward, which has an island berth, lots of storage, and an ensuite head. Coming back, you can go through the utility room, which features the deep freezer, separate washer and dryers and an electrical panel, and head through a large door for the engine room, which you can fully stand up in. There is also a door from the lazarette into the engine room.

A note about the flooring: The current owners installed new high-end carpet throughout the boat upon purchase in 2010 and in 2020 Amtico vinyl flooring was installed in the galley and pilothouse high-traffic areas. Additionally, sound-deadening carpet padding was used when the carpeting was installed to further reduce engine noise.

Salon:

The salon was upgraded by the current owners with a port-side couch that converts to a queen-size bed. The custom salon folding table is removable to enable an unencumbered living space. The stereo cabinet was modified with decorative glass panel inserts. All upper galley cabinets were also modified with glass panel inserts. North Pacific 43 Pilothouse

2008/43 ft/Vancouver, BC

US$ 342,855CA

Canadian Registered - 1 of 8 in Canada - Available Now in Vancouver.

The North Pacific 43 Pilothouse is a proven long-range cruiser, perfect for cruising the coast of BC on extended trips. Spacious, seaworthy, well-made and efficient Seabatical is large enough for comfort but easy for a couple to handle.

The NP43 has a spacious salon and galley that can rival many vessels in the 50-60' range. Seabatical was designed with extra comfort in mind. The starboard side has a large sofa. The port side has a bar area, perfect for keeping the chef company or enjoying breakfast. There is a removable table that would make space for a recliner.

The galley has large counters, large dual sinks, a Force 10 3-burner propane stove/oven, 9cu.ft Novakool fridge/freezer and plenty of storage.

Seabatical has a popular 2-stateroom layout, with a guest room to accommodate friends and family. Across from the guest stateroom is a large head and separate shower stall.

The master stateroom features an island queen (modified) bed with easy access up both sides. Almost 8' of headroom as you enter, combined with 4 portholes and a 20" hatch provides a feeling of spaciousness. The master stateroom has two hanging lockers, 4 drawers and storage under the bed.

People love the pilothouse on the NP43. It provides excellent visibility and comfort for captain and crew in any weather. With a sliding door on each side, there is plenty of ventilation and handing is made easy.

A large flybridge is standard on all NP43s. In addition to a fully equipped helm, there is seating and a table on the flybridge. There is also a Steelhead marine davit and space for a dinghy.

Seabatical is equipped with a Cummins 330hp engine, which is a great choice for this boat. She will cruise comfortably at 7-10 knots. At 7 knots, fuel burn is 2.5 GPH. At 8 knots it's 4 GPH and at 10 knots, it's 10 GPH. Top speed is approximately 11.5 knots.

Ranger Tugs R-27

2016/27 ft/Richmond, BC

US$ 151,622.45CA

My personal feeling for the 27' Ranger Tug is that it fits the bill for traveling and cruising anywhere. 27' with 8.6 beam makes this vessel able to go anywhere by land and then sea. Tis open up the idea of going to the West Coast or going inland to explore. I have always wanted to try one and was not disappointed in comfort or cruising stability. This one in particular has been taken care in the utmost  most care. It is very well equipped from the Volvo D3-200 to thruster, both bow and stern and wireless remote, autopilot w/remote, fantastic electronics. Diesel furnace, inverter, propane cooktop and oven. Downriggers, washdown and custom canvass, dinghy and kicker. This Ranger 27 comes complete with everything including spare parts. I cant think of anything needed.

Factory Information

The R-27 has nearly 50 Sq ft of aft deck space allowing for easy access to the standard 200 HP Volvo diesel while keeping engine noise out of the cabin. The well appointed cabin has a midship office with desk and seat, this space also converts to a berth that sleeps two. The dinette table is on a hydraulic piston that allows for an easy conversion to a berth or lounging area. The spacious front v-berth sleeps two adults and is over 6'5" in length. Cooks will love the standard galley which includes a sink, refrigerator, inverter, microwave and a combination propane stove/oven. The marine head is standard with an electric flush toilet, glass vessel sink and shower.

Manufacturers Notes

The R-31S (Sedan) shares many of the features and qualities of her smaller sisterships but some notable additions to this larger model make her ideal for extended cruising while still being a trailerable trawler. The builders at Ranger Tugs equipped the foredeck with seating and a table that can be raised or lowered depending on whether the boat is under way or at anchor or dock for entertaining. In addition to the foredeck seating, the R-31 boasts a larger cockpit area with wraparound seating utilizing seats that fold out of the gunwale. When not entertaining, seats are folded leaving the cockpit unencumbered.

The interior layout of the R-31S features two staterooms—one large island berth forward with en suite head and a midship berth and day head. Those who are familiar with Ranger Tugs models will recognize the galley layout and helm station that maximize interior space. A starboard side door provides easy access from the helm to the side decks so crew can get to the bow for line handling.

Like all Ranger Tugs, the R-31S comes essentially turnkey with standard features and equipment intended to make her owner’s experience hassle-free and allow for ease of handling and comfort under way. Standard equipment includes bow and stern thrusters, an optional aft steering station and a Volvo D4 300hp engine that achieves a 16 knot cruise speed.

• Pilot House door at helm for easy access to the bow

• Bow and stern thruster for easy maneuverability

• Two staterooms, with dinette, sleep six

• Forward stateroom with an island berth, en suite head and shower
