Cruise Puget Sound and beyond in comfort and safety aboard this very well maintained and updated 1974 Spencer 53 Sloop!

Spencer Yachts were built nearby in Richmond, BC, and designed by prominent naval architect John Brandlmayr. An extremely safe, comfortable, and capable cruiser, “Adios” has been lovingly cared for, maintained, and upgraded by the same family since new.

Accommodations:

Starting at the bow, the spacious V-berth accommodation offers extremely large bunks on either side, outfitted with four hanging cabinets, six drawers, and two hanging lockers. Forward of the berth is a very large sail locker with direct access to the anchor chain locker. Moving aft to the port side, the full forward head/shower includes a Dometic electric flush toilet, a separate shower compartment, a stainless-steel sink, four drawers, and two large cabinets. Directly across on the starboard side is a Pullman berth featuring two bunk beds over six feet long, a large hanging locker, two drawers, a small bookcase, and a small cabinet.

Continuing aft into the main saloon, the starboard side is configured with a large settee, an upper settee or bunk, and a table with fold-down leaves. The port side maximizes storage efficiency with a large countertop workspace, two very large sliding cabinets, and thirteen drawers. Moving up a couple of steps into the raised cabin area, the galley is equipped with a Princess three-burner propane stove and oven, a front-opening refrigerator, a top-opening freezer, an Elkay stainless steel sink, and top-opening storage adjacent to the sink. The galley offers plentiful storage with three sliding cabinets behind the counters, four drawers, and ample under-sink space. Opposite the galley sits a large square dining table that comfortably seats four to five people and includes a fold-up leaf for extra guests.

Further aft, steps lead down into the aft cabin, which holds two large double berths—one on each side. Between the berths are four large drawers and two cabinets, complemented by overhead sliding cabinets outboard on both sides. The starboard berth includes a dedicated large cabinet and hanging locker forward. On the port side, forward of the berth, you'll find a vanity area with a stainless-steel sink with a hanging locker above, alongside a separate head compartment fitted with a Dometic electric flush toilet.
