Roger's sailing interest started by building a Snipe one-design sailboat, racing it for five years his choice turning to larger boats with time.  With 40 years sailing as skipper or crew, on many different boats, his experience includes sailing the Caribbean in a square-rigged four masted barque, sailing the Channel Islands off Los Angeles, sailing San Francisco Bay and delivering sailboats up and down the Pacific coast.  As a manager of data systems, Roger crossed the Atlantic and spent six months off the coast of Africa in a 250 foot ocean research vessel.  More recently, Roger has been serving as Fleet Captain with the largest power and sail charter-boat operation in the USA.  These experiences and teaching sailing in a college Nautical Science program as an ASA Certified Instructor provides the kind of background required to help others find the boat best suited to their needs and locate a purchaser for the one they are leaving behind.
